SPRING IS ALMOST HERE! It's time to start adding beauty to your garden.
You can rent studio time during hours when we are open for $3.50/hour or $45.00/month. If you rent by the month, you can leave your tools and project at the shop for the month. The fee includes table space up to 2ft X 4ft and use of grinders. You will need to bring tools and supplies.

DEMO Drilling holes in Glass, Saturday Feb 18th 10am- noon. FREE. Come in and learn how to drill holes to make stained glass windchimes. We will demo the use of a dremel and diamond bit to drill holes in glass and allow you to drill a couple of holes. This will be recurrent as people come into store and want to try drilling holes.
GLASS CUTTING WORKSHOP-Saturday, March 3, 2012 (No experience needed).
$25 and everything is included.
This glass cutting workshop is a prerequisite if you want to take many of the mosaic classes. It is also a great refresher course if you haven't cut glass in a while or if your just breaking more glass than you like. We will introduce you to all the tools and teach you to cut straight lines, inside and outside curves, circles & complex shapes.
STEPPING STONE WORKSHOP 10am-1pm, Thursday, March 15. $45 which includes scrap glass, pattern, grout, adhesives, and stepping stone. You will need to pick pattern before class so you can cut out the main subject of your stone to bring to class. You will need to know how to cut glass. During class you will glue your cut glass and fill in with glass chips. There will be a demonstration in how to grout after the adhesive is totally dry.
BEGINNER COPPER FOIL CLASS- $75 + supplies and tools (you can rent tools for $45 and receive a $40 credit if you buy tools during the class)
Preclass-must be done prior to 1st scheduled class, takes about 1 hour to pick glass, copy pattern, cut out tagboard pattern
Saturday March 10, 2-5pm Glass cutting
Sunday March 11, 1-4p Grinding/fitting/homework foil glass
Saturday March 17 2-5p soldering
Sunday March 18 1-4p framing, patina, finishing panel

I am also planning a "Crash Glass" mosaic class. This class requires no glass cutting skills. It is great for those who are scrap bookers. This makes great wedding gifts (take wedding photos/ wedding invitations), baby announcements, school graduation gift.
Bring photos/paper/cards, and/or rub on sayings. Everything else will be provided.
$45. I could do the class on Thursday March 29th 10a-1p or Saturday March 31st 2-5p.
